Such lovely, human photos. 🙂

Thank you Britta! Street scenes are my favorite images to capture so I am glad that you found them lovely 🙂

There is something special about street photography that tells a story because the images are not posed for. Black and white photographs combined with street photography make them more realistic. Thank you for capturing these images and sharing them with us. Loved them.

Thank you so much Mark! You always manage to put a smile on my face, whether through your lovely compliments or entertaining posts. And love your new subscription pop-up 🙂

Love your B&W. And that first one, I like best. And the fisherman.

Well thank you so much! Such a kind compliment on a day I really needed it. I think you are a very lovely fish even if you are a badass.

I really love your work and seriously Lisa – I hope you keep doing street shots from your travels because you are giving us yet another part of what you are living – and in these pics for day 5 (thanks for joining in the challenge too) well the backgrounds were what made many of them come to life for me – format he checked trellis to the ripples in the water – but of course the subjects – 🙂 – <3 and I sometimes try and pick a fav – just for fun – even if I like every one – but my top choice here is….. produce man – – but the culture rich baskets – the lines in his shirt/hat – the cool stride – and a man at work – and now I need to click the link to see the colored version

You are wonderful and kind as always with your compliments and encouragement Yvette! The produce man is one of my favorite shots and it was great to be able to share him again in B&W.

Great character shots, Lisa 🙂

Very pleased to know that you think so Jo! Thank you for the compliment!

I love the fact that you’re doing more black & white work. These are great images, especially the chap with the fishing net. Your images are helping me travel with you, even while I sit on my couch and dream of being elsewhere.

Thank you Karen! So much to learn, but as you say, I will never take my best shot :-). And while I am learning, at least I am having fun!

I am so pleased to hear that Amy! Thank you very much 🙂

Wonderful work Lisa!

I am so pleased you think so Meg! Still roaring over your wonderful Easter Story btw – what a treat! Can’t wait to see what the Little Dogs Laughed Book and Lunch Club does next.

You have the ability to capture what appears to be the essence of the people you photograph. Beautiful B&W.

? You are incredibly kind. Thank you.
