Street Photography: Photo 101 Rehab

I’ve been hanging just outside the doors of Lucile de Godoy’s Photo101 Rehab Clinic ever since our photography course ended in November.

Long admiring the work of other ‘patients’ who had entered, I was never quite able to admit that I shared their ‘photography addiction’.

Until today.

Today I decided to get real with myself and take Lucile’s ‘self-examination’.  I accept that I too exhibit symptoms (e.g. an ‘incessant need to carry my camera everywhere with me’, frequently check up on the progress of other photographers to see what they are creating, and so forth).

And in the end, I learned that all I really needed to enter The Clinic was a passion for photography.  So today, I’ve decided to check in.

If you are not already a patient, but you share this passion, you can check into Photo101 Rehab here.

Lisa, like you I always have my camera with me but unlike you I always seem to miss the shot I wanted. Love your photographs but I need to book into the one that got away clinic.

You always manage to make me roar with laughter Mark :-). I love your sense of humor…and your photography too!

I’ve passed by and I love her work but never taken the brazen step just yet 🙂 This is a great shot, Lisa.

🙂 Am so glad that you like the shot Jo! Your compliment means a great deal. Perhaps you will meander into The Clinic someday after one of your beautiful Monday Walks

I should! Not sure that I understood the concept. I need to have another look.

It is a real honor to admit you as a “patient” at the clinic! Thank you so much for joining us.
And you brought a real treat to begin with. It is such a beautiful street photography’s shot!
Did he see you shooting? I love these images of street life.

Thank you so very much Lucile both for your lovely compliment and for keeping the clinic doors open :-).

Initially, neither of the people in this photo saw me shooting, but I liked the look on the Tattoo Studio owner’s face when became aware of my presence so I went with this one. Afterward, I introduced myself to the owner and his client and they let me take some shots ‘fully aware’ but this was my favorite of all the shots.

Love the light & shadows in this beautiful B&W.

I am so pleased to hear that you find it beautiful. Your compliment made my day!

It is truly a wonderful photo.

🙂 Thank you
