Gambier

Photos below by the Captain and I.

After a 21 day, 3100 mile sail, Amandla arrived in the Gambier Islands.  My longest passage yet!   Absolutely fabulous.  I loved the people of Gambier. the incredible nine day Bastille Day dance competition and the most beautiful pearls in the world.   It was well worth the challenge to sail to and from The Gambier.

**November 2019 Update – If you are planning a voyage to The Gambier or anywhere in French Polynesia for that matter, make sure to check out SY Pitufa’s blog here. Christian and Birgit have been sailing these waters since we met them here in 2013 and have a wealth of knowledge to share **
