This one is for the Daily Post
Humanity. My favorite subject to photograph as I sail the world.
I love images of people in the ‘moment’ whether they are working, playing, performing, sharing, loving, or just being.
I find these images reveal both the similarities across cultures as well as the differences that make each uniquely interesting.
For this week’s challenge, I present images I recently took while sailing through Maupiti, French Polynesia. They are also included in a larger collection of Maupiti photos
Great images
Thanks Debbie! Being a big fan of Street Art (and Nelson Mandela, who isn’t) I loved your Humanity submission http://travelwithintent.com/2014/09/13/mandela-mural-manchester-humanity-quote/
I really like the first shot, Lisa!
Thank you so much Stefano! That was my favorite shot from Maupiti! I felt lucky to have happened across such a beautiful moment! Your entry for this week was truly moving http://figliodelgiaguaro.wordpress.com/2014/09/13/weekly-photo-challenge-humanity/
Awesome pics, Lisa! You are turning into quite the photographer, with a great eye for what matters and how to captivate it. That combined with your unique writing style and endless wit, is the perfect combination for a blogger (and writer)!
Being a long term fan of your blog (http://www.itsirie.com/) your positive feedback means a great deal to me. As always, thank you for the inspiration. Hope you can get that purple stuff off your toenails soon!
