This week’s photo challenge was to publish images of ‘signs’ encountered on the street or more personal, less obvious signs such as gestures or social cues.

The images that came immediately to mind were select works of Street Art I have come across during my Pacific sailing journey.

First, I thought of the Street Art created around pre-existing signage, where the sign becomes part of the artwork.

And then I thought of the images I had seen where the purpose, in addition to adding a bit more beauty to the world, was to attract customers to purchase a product.
