So Cool! We have so many big open walls in our city, I really wish they would get street artist’s to do their work on them! It would give this town more attitude! good attitude! Stay well my friend! 🙂 t.

Would love to see your city walls transformed with art Teresa! I bet you could convince your local council to put on a show with local and international artists. How cool would that be!

Cool photos!
I don’t remember seeing street art at all in Indonesia back in 1998.

The place is bursting with color now, especially in Bali. Delighted that you enjoyed the images.

This post makes me happy!!! This artwork is soooo cool. None of this was there when I went years ago…seems I must go back now ;-).

Seth’s work stands out to me in here…just fantastic.

Seth definitely worked this landscape like a master. It was a joy to photograph and is my favorite piece of his

Thank you for joining me here. Some seriously awesome pieces in Indonesia. I look forward to sailing back this way again to see more.

I would like to dive in and around Java – yay or nay?

I have not done any diving in Java, only in Alor, Flores, Bali and Komodo National Park. Others I plan to try next time around are Maluku and Raja Ampat.

Ok! Good to know. This has been on my bucket list forever!

That’s such an eclectic and interesting collection of street art. Some a little bit weird too! I love visiting new destinations and wandering down a random street only to be welcomed by a local work of art on a building, wall, or pavement. I’m not too keen on tagging, and it disappoints me when taggers go over a lovely bit of street art – but I guess that’s just part and parcel of the renegade nature of street art.

I feel the same way …disappointed when taggers deface a lovely bit of street art. The artists dislike it too. Such taggers are viewed as ‘attention grabbers’ and are not well respected. Delighted you enjoyed the collection (and also agree that some of it is super weird 🙂

Great gallery of art. Not my expectation of sights in Indonesia, but it’s a pleasure to see them.

One of my many takes on this grand island nation. Sailed there for four months and just scratched the surface. I can’t wait to return for more. So much on this globe left to see. Thank you so much for having wandered through the gallery.
