I spotted this paddler queueing up with other outrigger canoeists at the town port. He is waiting for his chance to paddle in the wake of a departing boat.
We’ve hosted outrigger canoeists in Amandla’s wake several times now and watched them keep pace for long stretches at over 5.5 knots an hour.
